EXTRA SPECIAL PARENTS

Hello there, We have started this forum for all parents and carers of children and adults with all kinds of special needs. This will hopefully become a place to find information about various conditions as well as help and support agencies. I have tried to post as much information about Benefits as I can and I hope to be able to post more information about other agencies like charities, support groups, sources of finance and assistance. In order for this site to work effectively we need as many members as possible to join and participate. We would also like to limit the information to UK at the moment. The various conditions have been given separate forums and this is so that you can post your own experiences, questions and information. Thankyou for visiting and we hope this is a success.

I have attached an up to date list of the disorders and conditions that we have information about, on Extra Special Parents. This list also shows you where to find each disorder or condition on the site.

Please take a look and let me know if you know of any conditions that we do not currently cover.

It would also be incredibly helpful if you could post a little bit about your children’s’ condition in the relevant section, this helps other parents to find families who are in a similar situation.

Over 80 members haven’t yet posted on the site, and one of them could be able to help and/or support you.
